Works great in all conditions September 4, 2010 Cosmic This trap has taken care of the small invaders indoors and out. The one used outside sat in 90+ heat and rain and the ants kept coming back. They stopped coming after 3 days and have not been seen since. In my kitchen, the first army disappeared after two days of working on the trap. The second took three days. In all cases once a few found the trap, they would soon stop wondering anywhere else and begin swarming to the trap.
Works like a charm September 2, 2010 Geek (San Diego, CA United States) This stuff is great. We had a recent ant coup in our house and had tried some other off-the-shelf products and none were really working. The ants unionized and went right around our other traps. Little punks. So, on the advice of a friend and the reviews here, I ordered some of this wonderful liquid death for these unwanted ants. What results! I put the traps down Monday night at 6pm. In 2 hours, the place was SWARMING with ants. It's hard to show restraint and not kill them all immediately, but I knew I had to let them have their little fun, grab their friends, and take this wonderful ant genocide juice back to their nest. Within 2 days (less than that, really), the antpocalypse had come and gone. Minus maybe the one straggler, the ants were gone and just a pile of dead ant corpses remained. Just wonderful. I howled with laughter as I scooped their little bodies into the trash. Get this stuff, and enjoy doing your part to rid the planet of your share of ants! :)
work amazingly well August 27, 2010 brotherband 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The only complain I have for this product is that it took 2 weeks before shipping. When I first found this product, I already purchased all brands that I can find in walmart and target. None of them worked. Then I found this one, and ordered it through 2nd day shipping. I got several emails from amazon saying that they are temporarily out of stock. I was like: is it so popular? But I decided to wait, and it turns out to be a correct decision.
I just got it today, and put 6 packs at suspicious places. 2 hours later, I checked them, and it was like filming some horrified B movie. Ants are everywhere near the bait, and you can clearly tell where the nest is from their routes. It's interesting that at places where there are no heck nearby, I get nothing at all, even it's under the dining table or my son's highchair (you know how messy a baby is). But near the nests, I can't tell the total number, like several hundreds of ants? Geez!
One tip to find heck, which might be useful for apartment/condo renters like us, the nests are often close to the corners of wall, faucets or sinks and appliances that need a hole behind to stay on the wall.
I'm still waiting for the death of ants, since so far they are pretty active. I know it takes a while, and I'm quite confident on the incoming results.
Good luck to everyone!
great product August 22, 2010 Mischelle Brunner 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
this stuff is great. it attracts the ants then they carry the stuff back to their nest. it was full of ants within a minute of setting it down. it took about a week before i noticed there were no more ants around. after all of the products i have tried this seems to be the most effective. i still use ant blocker around the perimeter of my house but i will continue to use this stuff too.
Where has this been all my life! August 21, 2010 Evan Miller (Cincinnati, Ohio USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I had ants in my kitchen. Even when clean a few scouts roamed around trying to see if they could find something. Despite us keeping things clean they still foraged. I heard a guy on the radio mention Terro and so I got some to try it. Man, did this stuff work! I put them out and in about 6 hours they had found the first one. A couple hours later they found the second one and they ere swarming it! Woke up the next morning and no more ants. i left the bait around for a week just in case, but no more repeats. Since the three I put out still had stuff in them, I went ahead and put them outside just to torment the outdoor ants! I know, I'm cruel. >:)
